About Seven Eyes


Seven Eyes is a global music duo formed by British-Swiss singer Tanya Wells and Brazilian guitarist Paulo Vinícius. Blending jazz, Hindustani classical, Sufi, and Brazilian elements, their work bridges cultures and languages. They have performed at the UN, TEDx events, and across the globe.

The duo’s name, Seven Eyes, is inspired by the variety of musical perspectives and styles they incorporate into their work. It pays homage to everything from the seven notes of a musical scale to the seven energy centers in the subtle body.

Whether delivering original compositions or globally celebrated covers (such as their popular rendition of O Re Piya or the bhangra classic Mundian To Bach Ke), the duo creates a sound that transcends geographic and linguistic barriers.
